How to reset Yale Assure lock?

When you reset to factory defaults all user codes (including Master entry code) are deleted. All programming features are reset to their original default settings. To reset Yale Assure lock, do steps as follows:
Remove the battery cover and batteries.
Remove the interior escutcheon to access the reset button.
The reset button is located beside the PCB cable connector.
While pressing the reset button (for 3 seconds) reinstall the batteries and release the reset button.
Replace the battery cover.

How to change the code on Yale Assure keyless door lock?

First, wake up the keyboard by touching it using the palm of your hand.
Enter your current master code and then press the hash button. If your master code hasn’t been set, it will be automatically programmed to 123456.
Now, press the number 1, followed by the hash key.
Enter a new master code, which must contain 6 numbers.
That’s it, you have changed the code on Yale Assure door lock.

How does auto-unlock work?

The August app has two states that determine how to operate the Auto-Unlock functions.
Home and Away: When you’re at home, your August app will enter Home Mode and Auto-Unlock will not activate, it’s waiting for you to leave. When the August app sees you have left your neighborhood or traveled more than 200 meters from your home, Auto-Unlock will go into Away Mode, until your return home again. When you then return to within 200ft from your home, your phone will start looking for your lock. Once you’re close enough to your door (20-30 feet) and the August app sees your Yale Assure Lock, your door will Auto-Unlock and the app will go back into Home Mode.
